We have the most generous return policy in our industry and we have US-based customer support people who will do almost anything to satisfy a customer. We print all of our own books so we can maintain high quality and update and improve content as quickly as possible. Mometrix team members push through over 100 revisions or improvements to products per week. We are constantly striving to make our enormous product library as high quality as possible.

Unfortunately, the Internet provides a place for anonymous complainers, many of them our competitors, to try and influence our customer relationships. Mometrix is a positive disruptive force for customers in our markets, since we offer so much content for free. However, this really irks our competitors, and their response has been to publish anonymous defamatory content about our products and company in different forums. The forums themselves often demand payment for removal of defamatory content, hiding under legal loopholes meant for legitimate forum providers, not barely disguised extortion rackets. Mometrix feels it would be morally compromising to incentivize the defamation and extortion, so we generally take no action to remove defamatory content.
It is a shame that the anonymity of the Internet has resulted in such a loss of civility in our society, and the victims are real: the men and women who author, edit and produce our materials, and a small business that treats employees and its community well.
In addition, these complaints represent a tiny, tiny fraction of Mometrix’ clients. Through both free and paid channels, Mometrix helps millions of test-takers every year, and these complaints are nothing more than a rounding error compared to the millions who have benefitted from our products.
If you are a customer or potential customer of Mometrix, it is our hope that this “authorized statement” will cause you to reconsider anonymous, defamatory content you may come across on the Internet concerning our company.
